Welcome to my weekly post, Daybook Online Journal here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life; and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook Online Journal, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance. This post contains affiliate links.

Pondering…
I’m in the process of writing a Bible study on the book of Sirach for us. I’m pondering the best way, the right way and the right time.
Listening to…
Of course I’m still listening to my Joey+Rory CD! This CD soothes my soul y’all.
Reading…
My large print Bible
Holiness is for Everyone: The Practical Spirituality of St. Josemaria Escriva
Bible Journaling…
As an extension of my Bible Journaling, I’ve been Verse Mapping. Have you heard of it? I explain how I’ve been using it in this Littlest Way Periscope video.
Around the House…
Let’s see. It’s almost 10pm and I’m just now getting back to the computer. I’ve had a cranky toddler who is in a growth spurt and who ate candy yesterday. That’s what happened around the house today–lots of holding and loving and I am not even complaining. I’ve been keeping up on my laundry the past couple of weeks–go me!
In the Kitchen…
I’ve been buying loaves of French Bread on the clearance rack at Walmart. My bakery clearance rack sits by the milk. They are .50 a loaf. I bring them home and stick them in the freezer to add to a quick weeknight meal to stretch it for the family. (I don’t eat it, I’m still following the Trim Healthy Mama way of eating.)
Saving Money…
Y’all, I need to get back to using my competitor ads at Walmart. I’m having to buy meat and it is expensive! And my grocery budget ALWAYS needs trimmed, especially now.
Captured…
I made a MAJOR scheduling mistake! I forgot to write down State Cup for my daughter’s soccer team and we scheduled our family vacation during that time…UGH! Thanks be to God I think everything will end up working out, but WOW! That could have been terrible! So I have vowed not to let scheduling mistakes happen again. I put everything in our Google calendar so we can sync between Chris, myself and our two older daughters. I also bought myself a cute, fun and lovely Happy Planner. I’ve combined my love for Bible journaling with my planner–stickers, washi tape, scrapbook paper…it’s so pretty and functional.

Easter Sunday evening meal ~ Your words copied from a previous post “we all struggle with lapses of character at one time or another, it is what we do after that momentary lapse that determines what we really are” rang true Easter Monday. I struggle with anger management at times and it flared up Easter Sunday late afternoon. Your words coupled with a study on Daniel 9 and his prayer have been focusing on confession in depth today.
Appreciate your timely posts.

I am so sorry I am just now responding to you, please forgive me. I am pleased if anything I’ve said here has given any bit of help or hope…all through God. I’m going to have to read Daniel 9 then. I feel so busy right now, which makes me also feel very impatient.
Judi says
Thank you for your response Jenny. May this week unfold in a gentle peaceful way as the days’ happenings occur, expected and unexpected. Thank you Lord for Your peace that weaves through each of our days. Amen
