In considering Bible Quotes about Gratitude I quote from Fr John Hardon, “There are three words I would like to leave with you of how we should show our gratitude to God. They are thanks-thinking, thanks-saying, and thanks-giving.”
In this Lent Devotional for Women post we consider this quote, “A thing cannot give what it doesn’t have.” But then I change it to, “A person cannot love others well if they don’t love them themselves.” I’m a Lent Devotions rebel like that! Lent and love, all part of our daily devotions for Lent.
