Even as a child I had times where I struggled with fear and anxiety before bed. Instead of being told to behave and sent back to bed, I wish I would have been given these Bible Quotes to think on as I laid in bed or eventually fell asleep.
Being able to memorize and recite inspiring Bible quotes is awesome. Living a life of encourage one another quotes is much better. And this encouragement doesn’t have to fancy, hard, or out of our way. Sometimes the best thing we can encourage someone else is gift them with a smile. This goes for us too.
If triumph over sin, vice, and death is possible through penance and obedience to God’s Word…I probably need to know some of God’s Word huh? Not only do I need to be familiar with Who God is, I also need to know what He says. The enemy certainly knows the scriptures–he used them to try to tempt Jesus.
Let’s look at Bible verses about patience. Thankfully the Word of God is filled with wisdom and counsel to help us battle against impatience. A fair warning though, when we look at the struggle against patience, we will almost always find a problem with pride as well.
