Welcome to my Littlest Way Daybook. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life; and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

Praying…
Ay yi yi praying for your child when she’s 1300 miles away looks a lot different than praying for her right down the hallway. And with an older child out of the home, it changes some of the prayers you pray for the younger ones still at home. I looked at Chris across the table last night and asked him if he was amazed he’s the daddy of an 18 year old and a 4 year old. I’m also praying for a couple of lovely friends of The Littlest Way. Carmel lost her husband Greg and Jeanette’s grandmother is dying.
Pondering…
I’m pondering almost every single page of Hands Free Life: Nine Habits for Overcoming Distraction, Living Better, and Loving More
Listening to…
I love this song by Andrew Peterson, Be Kind to Yourself. I think it’s a lovely song every teen (and woman) needs plugged in their ears, lol!
Reading…
I have not been reading much the last year. I’ve realized I’ve been starving myself of good words and ideas. I recently bought two books and checked out a couple more from the library.
In This House, We Will Giggle: Making Virtues, Love, and Laughter a Daily Part of Your Family Life
Use Your Words: A Writing Guide for Mothers
Own Your Life: Living with Deep Intention, Bold Faith, and Generous Love
Living Forward: A Proven Plan to Stop Drifting and Get the Life You Want
I told you I’ve been starving myself lately.
Around the House…
Summer time same ‘ol same ‘ol…Thanks be to God for ordinary days.
In the Kitchen…
I’m really in a meal planning, food preparation rut. I joined the Trim Healthy Mama Membership site to help me out with meal planning and new recipes. So far I absolutely love it. Grocery shopping was as total breeze the other day.
Our Domestic Church…
The Feast of Saint Mary Magdalene is coming up this Friday the 22nd. Here is a link to some history and feast day celebration ideas.
Saving Money…
Still using Every Dollar to try to track our spending. I need to do this to see where we can tweak our spending habits.
Captured…
I can’t imagine what it will feel like when Bella moves away… I am barely wrapping my head around high school! I love the song you posted. So beautiful, especially as a woman and mom of daughter. <3 Lastly, I'm intrigued with the budget app. This sounds like something I could really use right now! 🙂
You know what Bobbi, Bernadette moving has been less traumatic than I thought; I attribute it ALL the grace of God.
