Welcome to My Daybook Online Journal. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Listening to…
Right now I’m listening to the dryer tumble the last load for the night…not to be confused with the last load that needs to be done! Musically I have a playlist on Spotify named, “Love Winter” with a variety of songs that make me happy which hopefully will make me love winter, lol!

In the Kitchen…
I made homemade chicken noodle soup for a kiddo who’s down. It was super yummy!! I needed to make it quick so I used spaghetti noodles instead of homemade noodles and it was still amazing!

Self Care
Monday through Friday I go to the gym–I still can’t believe that’s something I say!! I am excited to go to the gym, I’m all pumped up when I leave the gym, and then when Chris gets home and asks me how the gym was I get all pumped up all over again! I’m reading Tim Mcgraw’s book, Grit & Grace: Train the Mind, Train the Body, Own Your Life and it is so good! It talks about this very thing, that moving your body is so good for your mood, mind, and emotions.
We are diffusing Thieves since we have a sick child. I also have a roller bottle I made that has Oregano oil in it. Oregano oil is so good!
Oregano oil benefits
• Used as a powerful cleansing and purifying agent
• Provides amazing immune-enhancing benefits
• Supports healthy digestion and respiratory function
• Excellent source of antioxidants
• Oregano contains thymol and carvacrol, which have been
studied and found to have many benefits
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I signed up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)
The Littlest Way
Oh friends! I am so ready for this year here at The Littlest Way! Last year was a struggle and the ghosts and demons from 2019 keep trying to crowd their way into 2020 but I’m not having any of it! I have missed doing the work God has called me to here and I’m not going to be distracted anymore, or at least for very long.
