Leave it to me to just decide, at the last minute mind you, that I will own February! That I will run February! That I will hit February before it even knows what hit it! Grab a cup of coffee–my coffee order at Evergreen Coffee is a 24oz iced, white chocolate, salted caramel, americano with cold brew, and heavy cream. Or grab your favorite drink–I have two, a Cherry Limeade with Bai Cherry over ice with four drops of Lime essential oil (Young Living vitality which is safe for ingestion). Or my afternoon favorite: Ningxia, Nitro, Zyng, and Sulfurzyme–so good and good for you!!

I found this song this week and WOW! Show Me Your Glory by Brandon Lake and Leeland
Fireplace Update–Not much to say? I shared after the fireplace explosion that I just kind of felt like I was in a fog; more than I normally feel like I am, LOL! I felt so bad because Chris was doing everything! Laundry, dealing with the insurance company, never missed a day of work, etc. A friend asked if I could focus on just one thing–could I just focus on making Chris’ favorite meal each night, or a meal he would like. Yes! I could do that one thing and at the end of the day not go to bed feeling foggy and defeated. That was the absolute best advice someone who loves both and Chris and I could have offered!!
We moved back into our bedroom last week. Yes, it still has a hole in the wall and ceiling, no carpet, and fire stained walls. We needed to move back into it. We needed to sleep in the same bed and same room. So Chris ordered a new mattress and I bought new bedding. I’ve never had “bedding.” I’ve had a fitted sheet from Walmart and quilts from my grandparents. You know how I feel about my grandparents and the quilts. But it was time for “bedding.” It took me three tries at Target but man I nailed it!! Chris, who could usually care less has told me every single day, “Jenny, you did such a great job! I love our bed!”

Feelings
I am a feeler…BIG TIME. Gosh I feel it all, all the time! The past few years have held? Produced? A LOT of feelings. Losing people, gaining people, changing from the inside out, Melanoma…lots and lots of feelings! And I think I do a pretty good job of being able to use my words and tears to express my feelings. I’m using the Feelings Kit from Young Living for the month of February. It’s a mixture of seven different oils and affirmations. You know how I feel about affirmations, LOVE them!
Here’s a video from Dr, Edie Wadsworth, a former Family Practice Medical Doctor, on emotions and oils I’d love to share with you.
Kindness
Our Online Bible Study Community is reading, writing, praying, and studying the Scriptures on Kindness for the month of February. We’re also doing different Kindness Challenges throughout the month–starting with being kind to ourselves!!! It’s not too late to join! Even if you don’t join us, I’d love to know ways that you are kind to yourself; drop it in the comments below.
Gratitude
Over on Instagram I’m posting a Gratitude story each day. It’s nothing hard or fancy. I just post a graphic that has space for three things you’re thankful for. I post mine and then share the template so you can share yours!

Looking Back
2020 Daybook, I especially liked the last entry, sharing an Instagram post talking about the difference a year makes! And looking back now, realizing it was right before the world shut down.
Wow! Last year at this time we were starting our study of Ephesians.
Hmm, apparently I found planner peace in 2018. Needless to say, I’m using something different now. I should write about that soon.
Oh! I love this quote from my 2017 Daybook post. I had forgotten all about it, “We have both a divine task and a divine purpose. Our supreme ‘purpose’ is to glorify God. Our supreme ‘task’ is to evangelize the lost.”
