Goodness, I am behind in my Catholic Bible Study! That’s ok though, at least I’m reading and I WILL NOT let the enemy convince me I’m too far behind to catch up! That’s a major trick of the enemy, you know that right? Discouragement, shame…they all serve a major purpose in his ultimate goal of separating us from the Lord.
I’m gonna be honest here, sometimes it’s hard to choose time with the Lord. It’s hard to decide I will sit down and read my Bible and saturate myself in His Word…so sometimes I don’t. I scroll social media instead. I run to the store first instead of after. I do nothing instead of something eternal. I’m a fallen human being, it happens.
But God is faithfully waiting for me to choose Him first. He’s gently teaching me to choose the better part–the eternal over the temporary. He’s calling me into His heart and welcoming me into closer friendship with Him.

Do not be afraid for I am with you and will bless you…

Smell is powerful!
Some people brought to him a paralyzed man on a mat. Seeing their faith…
Will the lord see my friend’s faith?
Now go and learn the scriptures: “I want you to be merciful; I don’t want your sacrifices.”
Command! “Go and learn the Scriptures.”
