Welcome to my weekly Online Journal post here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life; and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Online Journal, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

Pondering…
I saw this on Pinterest and have been pondering how this looks for a momma of a large family…who homeschools…who writes…who needs quiet margins…who strives to lay down her life for her family.
Listening to…
I love my Amazon Prime Playlist. If you’re a Prime member, you have access to lots and lots of free music to add to your music library on Amazon–good songs even! I have a playlist we listen to in the car (I just plug my phone in the car jack to use the speakers), a couple of playlists I listen to while I write, one for dancing in the kitchen in the morning, one for quiet reading, etc.

Bible Journaling…
I’m getting ready to write up a guide on how I practice Bible Journaling–not the art supply kind of journaling. This guide will walk you through how I read the scriptures, the reading plan I use, the color markings I use and why, and an introduction to verse mapping.
Around the House…
We are starting math today. I will order the rest of our school books today and we’ll officially start when they arrive. I think we’re in a pretty good flow or understanding of our chores–even if we don’t always do them.
In the Kitchen…
I bought quite a bit of meat on sale last week so I will build recipes around it.
Our Domestic Church…
Today is the Feast of St. John Mary Vianney, patron saint of priests. Please say a prayer or an extra one for our priests. They (hopefully) shepherd many souls.
A Prayer for Priests by St. Therese the Little Flower
A Prayer for Priests
By St. Therese of LisieuxO Jesus, eternal Priest,
keep your priests within the shelter of Your Sacred Heart,
where none may touch them.Keep unstained their anointed hands,
which daily touch Your Sacred Body.Keep unsullied their lips,
daily purpled with your Precious Blood.Keep pure and unearthly their hearts,
sealed with the sublime mark of the priesthood.Let Your holy love surround them and
shield them from the world’s contagion.Bless their labors with abundant fruit and
may the souls to whom they minister be their joy and consolation here and in heaven their beautiful and
everlasting crown. Amen.
Saving Money…
I’m trying to crunch the numbers and make the budget work. We’ll see…

Question. You mentioned finishing the Sirach Bible study and moving on to Tobit. Do you have a particular Bible study you use or do you just mean you are reading the book of the Bible more in depth?
Thank you for all your work and for sharing it with us

Hi Lindy and Good Morning,
I read these personally and create a Bible Study and Journal for women based on my reading. I do research on the book as well: commentaries from the Fathers of the Church, historical background, that kind of stuff. Compile it together with a verse, reflection and sometimes a thoughtful question to ponder or discuss.

Have you heard Hillary Scott’s “Thy Will be Done”?
And I kid you not, aside from the height, your brother is a cross between my brother and cousin! I even asked my 10 yr-old who he looked like and she said Uncle Terry. My cousin is from AZ, so she isn’t as familiar with him.
May God bless your school year. I’m trying to stay calm about it. Thing is, I’m not even keeping up well as it is.. Much trust and heavenly perspective is needed.
