Welcome to How to Live the Little Way. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Bible Reading…
I’ve been following a 90 Day Bible Reading Plan on YouVersion. Find me over there on the app and friend me so we can share notes and encourage each other as we read the Word. Here are some of my recent notes:
Nehemiah 8:12–BECAUSE they had heard God’s words and understood them
Nehemiah 6:3,9–My answer to the enemy trying to distract me and then I continue the work with even GREATER DETERMINATION!
Nehemiah 2:16–Sometimes we need to keep the plans God has for us on the down-low. Telling everyone can be a door opener for the enemy to plant doubt, confusion, questions and to mock us.
1 Peter 3:8–Holy Friendship
1 Peter 1:22–Holy Friendship
James 1:21–(Passion Translation) …with a sensitive spirit we absorb God’s Word
Around the House…
We’ve started school and for the first time ever, in 15 years of homeschooling, we’ve joined a co-op. I need some new routines in place to keep things running smoothly, or at least semi-smoothly
In the Kitchen…
Same as above. I need some new routines. But, thanks be to God for a 17-year-old daughter who decides to take grocery shopping into her own hands! Tonight I need to place an online order–another thanks be to God moment please!! If you have not tried Walmart Grocery Pickup, do it! At least once. There’s a $10 off referral code below to sweeten the temptation.

Self Care
I am still working out 5x a week and still loving it. I hurt my shoulder last week and one of the first things I said to Chris was, “What if this messes up my workout?!” Like who am I to say that??? My body is stronger and my mind is clearer and my emotions are more balanced. Such a lovely feeling all the way around!
I’m also experimenting with some different essential oil blends for Fall; some for some melancholy and some for Fall allergies, and some to boost our immune system since Fall is coming and we’ve joined a co-op.
If you scrolled by the announcement above, Dr. Edie, a former Family Practice M.D. and the matriarch of my essential oil team is live-streaming one of her most popular classes, Hormones and Essential Oils. If you are not part of an essential oil team and would like some essential oil education from a doctor’s perspective, let me know and I will send you an invite to this private live-streamed class on Facebook.
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I signed up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)
The Littlest Way
Time to get back into a good posting routine, especially the Bible Journaling Templates I started a month or so ago.
