Welcome to my weekly Online Journal post here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life; and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

::I’m praying to do what I know to do through the guidance of God and not let other opinions shake me.
Pondering…
I wish my brain would take a nap. This past week I have pondered, analyzed, and walked around a situation so many times it’s not even funny. And then I realized I was putting all my energy into this one situation. My health–mental and physical were beginning to show strain, my home life was suffering, my writing was non existent–I was losing my voice. To put it poetically, the bridge was burning and yet I was trying everything I could to cross it.

I did so well two weeks ago following a good Trim Healthy Mama meal plan. Then last week hit. I’m not really a stress eater, more like a stress snacker. I forget about meals, eat a small, unhealthy snack…repeat.

Following the Traditional calendar, this coming Thursday is the Feast of Saint Dominic. If you don’t usually pray a family rosary, that would be a good day to do so. Here are some links for you

How do you decide which feasts to celebrate? Since I got my calendar with both new and old feast days it’s overwhelming and just looking at it makes me cringe. I worry I won’t choose the right one. Also, when you choose one do you do an all out party or just something simple to recognize the day? My goal this next school year especially is to celebrate different feast days on the calendar but I’m lost as to where to start. Is there a book for that??
