Welcome to my weekly Daybook post here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

Bible Journaling…
I just updated my Bible Journaling page. Later this week I’ll share a post of some Bible journaling I’ve done using the Illustrated Faith Christmas kit.
Around the House…
Where does all this dust and corner dirt come from!?! It never looks like anyone sweeps around here and yet we do daily. On another note, the tile guy came to give us an estimate on tiling our shower. We’ll see??? I hate to be so spoiled but I miss my own shower in my own bathroom.
In the Kitchen…
After a lean year of very little beef and no venison we now have a good supply of both. Thanks be to God.

This weekend while Veronica and I were in Texas for soccer, I took Lavender, Uplift (my new perfume) and Peppermint. I woke up Sunday morning with an upset tummy so I grabbed the Peppermint and applied some to my tummy, wrists and ankles. Shortly after I felt so much better! To put this in perspective, before the Peppermint I wasn’t sure when or if we’d be leaving Dallas Sunday. Lavender and Peppermint are also effective for sore muscles, sprains or strains so, of course, we now travel with them.

Our Domestic Church…
Tomorrow is the Feast of St. Nicholas. The kids will leave notes in their stockings for St. Nicholas tonight. Hopefully he’ll leave chocolate coins! And the last couple of years he has left a family game.
Saving Money…
I’m working on our grocery bill; using Ibotta and price matching at Walmart. My last grocery trip I earned $2.75 with Ibotta and saved $13.60 using competitor ads.

I would tell my younger self: “Your value is not defined by what they think of you, how much they notice you, or how much attention they give you. Your value can only be determined by the One who created you, and you are precious in His eyes. Not for what you can accomplish or because of what you can do, but just because of who you are.”
