Welcome to my weekly post, Daybook Online Journal. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life; and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook Online Journal, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.
Daybook Online Journal: A Couple of Days Later
Thanking God for…
Um, how about that we are all still here? Or maybe not? Wow, it seems like more and more I am saying, “I never thought I’d see the day when…” Y’all I had an anxiety attack on Saturday, something I have not had in years. Every time I think about the world my little 3 year old is going to grow up in I get all heavy hearted and weepy. My older children will know a before and after, but not my little guy.
I’m thankful we have good spiritual shepherds in our parish priests and bishop who speak clearly, yet lovingly on matter of sin and disorder.
Praying…
You know how your prayers seem so big and jumbled up and you’re not even sure where to start…yeah, me too.
Pondering…
“If God doesn’t punish America, He’ll have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.”
Billy Graham
“Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 5:10
Listening to…
The kids are outside playing, the air conditioner is doing its lovely thing as are its hard working buddies the washing machine and dryer and Kari Jobe is soothing my troubled soul

Bible Journaling…
I took some time Sunday afternoon to sit with the Word of God and just get my hands all over It. I needed the space and the quiet and to literally touch His Word, meditate on it and hang out with Him while Bible Journaling. I journaled in a journaling Bible and a regular Bible and I’ll share how those turned out soon.
Around the House…
Still working on decluttering and cleaning. I’m getting ready to start working through Makeover Your Mornings from Money Saving Mom. I took her 21 Days to a More Disciplined Life a couple of years ago (longtime readers you remember?) and it was a needed boost. Hopefully Makeover Your Mornings will be the same.
In the Kitchen…
My Fuel Cycle week with Trim Healthy Mama was good. It was just what I needed to restart, replan and reorganize. I had slipped into some bad habits, fallen off the wagon and never fully gotten back on and this was the boost I needed. I know I say this all the time, but I really do just feel better eating this way–physically and emotionally.
Our Domestic Church…
I’m looking around on my bookshelves and the internet for resources for the month of July dedicated to the Most Precious Blood of Jesus.
Captured…
