Welcome to my weekly post, Daybook Online Journal here at The Littlest Way. This is a post where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to…eating and cleaning and learning…These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life; and I want to remember them. I would love to read your Daybook Online Journal, just leave it in the comments section below. You can use my prompts or make up your own to include items important to you; mine change depending on season and circumstance.

Praying…
Mommas…I Am Praying for You! And Me! And All of Us!
Pondering…
The fine lines of parenting.
Listening to…
Maximilian, Leo and I dance around the kitchen in the morning to “Move (Keep Walking)” Yeah, the teens appreciate us as much as you would image, lol!
Reading…
My large print Bible
Divine Mercy for Moms–I have this book so highlighted it is not even funny! Official Book Notes post coming soon.
The Way of Trust and Love–almost finished!
Bible Journaling…
Right now our morning “Bring Your Bible” group is working through Deuteronomy. I am surprised how much I like this book of the Bible. I really thought it would be boring. I’ve been practicing the spiritual disciplines of Bible journaling, verse mapping and just plain ‘ol highlighting.
Around the House…
We are getting a new washing machine soon!! When mine gets to a spin cycle, it sounds like a jet engine about to take off! We have had so many problems with this machine we know the repair man by first name. He recommended we purchase a Fisher Paykel machine. He said they are 30 year machines!! Yes please because we go through washers, dryers and dishwashers about every 3-5 years.
In the Kitchen…
It is amazing to me how one bite of sugar makes my body CRAVE more and more!! I’m not losing any weight with Trim Healthy Mama right now. That’s ok with me…sort of. All I know is I feel better when I eat that way verses when I don’t. No moodiness, sugar highs and lows, bloating, poor sleeping, etc.
Our Domestic Church…
May is the month of Mary. Each morning as part of our “Family School” we are reading The Life of Mary as Seen by the Mystics. This is such a beautiful book and my children are enjoying it as much as I am.
Our parish now has a Perpetual Adoration chapel. Luke and I have a date to go every week. Last week we went for the Children’s Adoration with all the other kids. At first I thought I’d be put off by “Children’s Adoration” thinking it “dumbed down” Adoration. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized this is such a GREAT idea. If we want our children to grow up and be in the habit of Adoration, we need to start young. But try sitting a child down in front of the Blessed Sacrament and telling them to “think about Jesus” for one hour. Not a very good idea. But teach them, lead them in prayer and hymns…very good idea.
Saving Money…
Now that we’ve paid off our house, we decided to continue to take that money out of each check and apply it to a savings account.

Hi, be sure and keep a journal of the small silly things that happen in the day to day living. I had started so many journals in my life of daily living. I didn’t keep them up, misplaced them and in moments of anger destroyed them. Now at 74 years olds I would give anything, I mean anything to have them. I have lost two children and a record of their birth and baby days would be priceless to me now. Please, please don’t repeat my mistake.
Fisher Paykel washer didn’t last me very long, sorry I might of just bought a lemon but my Fisher Paykel dryer is still going strong after ten years. I bought a top load dryer and I LOVE it.
I really enjoy your blog, Our lord has given you a gift of spreading His word, a serious message but delivered with humor in down to earth way. Thank You and God Bless.
