Welcome to My Daybook Online Journal. A weekly post here at The Littlest Way where I gather all the ordinary things that happen or are happening in my day to day. Things like what I’m reading or listening to, eating, cleaning, and learning. These are the small moments that make up my blessed daily life and I want to remember them. My prompts may change depending on season and circumstance.

Pondering…
Listening to…
My 2019 playlist Spotify made for me. Surely it’s not bragging to say I have good taste in music based on my curated playlist? Speaking of music, one of my goals for 2020 is to go see Josh Garrels in concert!

Bible in a Year: Your Daily Encounter with God
This is my “quantity” Bible to make sure I get the Word inside me each and every day.
Catholic Journaling Bible and the Inspire Catholic Bible NLT: The Bible for Coloring & Creative Journaling
These are my study and journaling Bibles.
And I just put a bunch of books on hold at the library! My plan, and maybe not as grand as some of you, but my plan is to complete one book a month this year. I have a really bad habit of starting a book and then not finishing it.
* I’ve written an ebook to guide you through the whys and hows to get started with Bible Journaling, Bible Journaling Tips, Inspiration and Permission, and to encourage and inspire you in your Bible journaling!
Bible Reading…
Here are some recent notes I made while reading in the YouVersion app. If you’re not on there you should totally join and friend me over there! We can share notes and highlights.
Genesis 1:11
Beginnings matter, pay attention to the soil and the seeds.
Genesis 1:17-18
Govern–to exercise continuous authority over. The light governs the dark.
Genesis 1:3
God spoke light into existence. “Let there BE light…and there was…”
John 15:5
I don’t want to be powerless.
Around the House…
The Christmas tree is down. I used to wait until after the Epiphany, and then at least until the Epiphany but this year, I needed that seven-foot-tall tree out of the middle of my living room; at some point it just becomes too much and one more thing.
In the Kitchen…
I know I’ve said this before but I need to overhaul our grocery budget, which means better meal planning. But, I have 3 teens in my house plus two growing little guys and busy schedules…and I like variety, but I also like healthy and quick…
I know that I know when I shop Aldis and then Walmart Online I do a better job. If you haven’t tried Walmart Online Grocery pickup click the link below to get $10 off your first order! Seriously! I also get $10 off my next order so it’s a win/win.

Self Care
I let the holidays mess with my workout schedule and I can tell physically, mentally, and emotionally. I’m actually thinking about a small in home gym for my birthday gift. We’ll see. In home gym or not, what I was doing was working and I need to get back into a regular routine of it.
I also need to get back into the habit sharing essential oils here and on social media. Just because I haven’t been sharing doesn’t mean I’m not using them or continuing to learn more about them. I have just gotten out of the habit of sharing how I’m using them daily.
(I used to purchase my essential oils from Amazon or Edens Garden instead of a distributor. You can read my thoughts on why here, “Where I’m From…” I’ve since decided I don’t have the time or resources to properly educate myself on using the oils to their fullest potential. That’s why I signed up with Young Living under a former Family Practice Physician.)
The Littlest Way
Last year was a tough one and I was quieter here than I would have preferred, but it was what I needed. I have plans to get back here full swing as well as start releasing some of our Online Bible Study Community Bible studies on Amazon this year. You can find them in my shop right now.
