I’m keeping a running list of thanksgiving–30 Days of Thanksgiving to be exact–for the month of November. I’m forcing myself to remember Thanksgiving is a choice, a way of thinking and a way of life. It’s more than just a day at the end of the month of November. I’m inviting you to please join me. Who cares if it’s already November 11th, jump in anyway! If you blog, leave a link in the comments. If you don’t leave your list in the comments.
Book Club Time: Searching for and Maintaining Peace Part 2
This is part 2 of my Book Club Time: Searching for and Maintaining Peace post. Part one of Searching for and Maintaining Peace can be found here. This is such a deep and rich book; do not let it’s small size fool you. Jacques Philippe can say what need to be said so succinctly, and yet his wisdom is accessible to all.
I started this Book Club Time series on Searching for and Maintaining Peace: A Small Treatise on Peace of Heart now, because we are headed into a season that can cause us to lose our peace over the last toy on shelf taken just as we get there, the last close parking spot snagged or an uncooperative ten pound turkey that won’t defrost.

We are about to head into “crazy” aren’t we? November, December and January can wear us thin and rub us raw. Let’s get a “Peace Plan” in order before we start the road trip to Crazy Town. For today’s Book Club Time post, I want to share with you a life changing book–yes, life changing. Have you heard of the book Searching for and Maintaining Peace: A Small Treatise on Peace of Heart? In some circles it is simply referred to as “The Pink Book.”
11.9.14 Daybook: Online Journal
Happy Sunday to you all! Welcome to my Daybook Online Journal. This is a weekly post where I keep an online journal of my day to day. They say the days are long but the years are short and my Daybook Online Journal helps me remember the little things that may seem insignificant in the day to day but end up being the things of importance in the long run. If you blog and want to leave a link to your own Daybook: Online Journal, leave it in the comments. If you don’t blog, list out your Daybook in the comments. I’d love to read them. I like the inside look into others lives.
