Day 4 of my 30 Days of Thanksgiving! ย It may be too soon to tell…but I think I see a correlation between my 30 Days of Thanksgiving and being able to start chipping away at a couple of goals in my Goal Setting for the month go November; namely not raising my voice at my children.
I would love for you to join me either on your blog or in the comments with your own 30 Days of Thanksgiving–even if you’re new here and it’s 26 Days of Thanksgiving.

Clare says
Giving thanks for the rain! Oh thank you Lord! The beginning of the rainy season!
Jenny says
Wonderful Clare. I like the rain but don’t know if I would look forward to a “season” of it…unless of course I’m thanking God for all things ๐
Michelle says
#53 I call that my Pro-Life sky.
I’m thankful for my husband who takes the trash down to the bin every morning.
I’m eternally grateful for my bed. It’s old, but oh so comfy. I love to crawl into it at bedtime and snuggle with the boys.
A job for my ambitious 15 yr. old son at the commissary with great tips and minimal hours. We most likely will not be able to buy him a car, so I have a sense of relief too.
The fact that he will be going to a King and Country concert and not, well, some other band, if you know what I mean.
Great fall weather.
OK, finally a new smart phone. Sort of. I think only because now I can equip my older two with my old one until the day that they can afford their own. But not when I’m shopping and a stranger tries to help me answer it. So not tech savvy.
Jenny says
Have a great time at the concert! I thought one line in “Fix My Eyes,” was “Have faith in a bathtub…” I am getting too old?
Michelle says
That’s ok, the other day, I caught myself singing, “She be riding 16 horses when she comes…” I mean, are you kidding? 16 horses?? It’s funny getting old. I kind of like it.

Love the list! It’s always the small things that we need to be thankful for! You inspired me to start thankful posts (but instead a thankful Thursday) for all this month. ๐ Thanks for sharing those important moments you are thankful for!
Jenny says
Yeah for keeping a gratitude list all month! Happy Thanksgiving!
Rebecca Harrison says
I have so much to be thankful to God for yet sometimes it’s hard to put into words! So here goes..
1. Watching the Duggars with Russ and Kalynn (yes Russ enjoys watching too).
2. Russ’ sense of humor
3. My oldest son home and watching him follow what God has placed on his heart to do with his life.
4. Homeschooling
5. Not homeschooling on a rainy day and instead being able to allow Kalynn to read and do what she enjoys.
6. Pumpkin bars..yum
7. New comfy leggings to wear with my skirts
8. A whole day without appointments to get caught up
9. Making the bed everyday (or more specifically seeing the result of making the bed everyday)
10. Memory of a whole day with all 3 kids and attending mass together Sunday.
This list was easy, I will have to really think some days so I don’t repeat all of them everyday ๐
Jenny says
Great list Rebecca. It’s a nice mixture of memories and living in the present moment.
