So I issued this challenge the other day on my Daily affirmations of Gratitude post. I invited–sounds friendlier than “challenged”–you all to start a gratitude list this week, Monday through Friday, listing 20 items per day for a total of 100 by Friday. I invited you to journal them, put them in a Word document or list them daily in the comments of my 30 Days of Thanksgiving blog posts. If you missed yesterday’s announcement you can do one of two things–start today and have 80!! items on your list by Friday or start today and double up to still get to 100. Win-Win either way.

We MUST be kindred spirits, since you talked about your “why’s.” The “why” is the underwriting concept behind my whole blog. I love how knowing our purpose(s) can guide us. And I also love how you said “for some of what I do.” We’re all just figuring it out as we go; I love this simple admission that you don’t always know it all at once. I couldn’t agree more.

Hi Erica. I’m finding it’s much easier to just realize upfront I may not know all of the “why’s” or have a crystal clear picture and that’s ok.

What a wonderful feeling to have the laundry almost done!! I will have to listen to that Bing Crosby song! 🙂 I enjoy those old B&W movies, too!

My wonderful feeling won’t last long when the rest of the family come in from deer camp.

OMGosh…I read 356 and 357 together too quickly and thought you wrote “Chickens wandering around in the house”!!! I had to blink my eyes and do a double take!
Of course, if I had chickens, there would likely be one wandering around in the house at any given time. Because teenage boys can be so very, very silly.

We had a rooster and ten hens wander into the house a couple of years ago!
